Vintage Emerson Boombox TV/Radio/Cassette Player Model XLC-558 READ

Overall this Emerson TV radio boombox is in great condition. There is no damage to the outside. Both of the speakers attach cleanly to the base unit. Both speakers work. When I purchased this unit it did not have a power cord but I found a 12 volt cord that fit and worked for the unit. The battery compartment is clean and does not have any corrosion . The antenna is intact and not broken or bent . The TV monitor powers on, & the radio works as it should. I did not have a cassette tape with me to test but all of the buttons work on the tape deck and all the mechanism move as they should on the inside. The volume slider needs to be adjusted to get both speakers to come in perfectly. I have seen this been an issue on other units that are similar to this one. As you move the volume up and down the sound will cut in and out, not completely but will lessen As you move the dial. But overall it is a very clean item in a very cool vintage piece of electronics. Please refer to the pictures for the condition of the item as the pictures are part of the description. With any vintage electronics things that work today might not work tomorrow. Things become brittle and can break very easily. Most of my items are bought at estate sale auctions so I have no idea what kind of home it was in before I got it or how the item was stored. That being said what you were buying is being sold AS IS with NO returns.
