21" antique composition German AM Armand Marseille Toddler Doll with crier

DESCRIPTION:
This auction is for a antique German toddler doll incised "AM 2966, 5/10", 1920s+. Measures 21" tall being a composition or papier-mache socket head with jointed composition wood doll body. Body shows overall wear, scuffs, paint loss and touch up, for being over 80 years old, but together intact being strung fine. There is a working crier in her back I have shown in photo #11, when you tilt the doll she will cry. Doll is jointed the the shoulders, hips and neck with fingers intact, her nails on fingers and toes are painted red. I removed her pate to look at her head, it has been stuffed long ago with tissue which seems glued in, I imagine it can be removed but since I stuff the head for safe shipping anyway I did not remove it. The eyes will open and close with some of the tissue removed.
A "sweet" face with blue glass sleepy eyes, short eye brows, she has open mouth with two upper teeth and molded tongue. Tiny paint rub on the right cheek, wears a auburn wig that slips over a pate on her head, possibly vintage but not antique like this doll. Her vintage antique style dress is charming with buttons down the back, she wears pantaloons, stockings and cream color shoes. Two small dolls included with her, a small bisque doll marked Japan in nice condition and a celluloid plastic doll missing arms.
